Approvals used to collect a single comment per review. Reviewers can now highlight any part of a draft and attach a comment to it, so the writer sees exactly which sentence needs work.
Comment threads resolve independently, and the audit trail records who resolved each one. The approval itself still requires an explicit sign-off, so resolving comments does not publish anything on its own.
